Great shot. Does this shallow of depth of field on a shot like this require bellows on a medium format or is this possible just by shooting wide open (how did you achieve this)? I'm going to jump back into film here.

The photo was taken with a Contax 645 with the 80mm f/2.0 wide open. The wide aperture and the large film plane allowed some nice fore- and background separation from the subject. The only medium format camera that I can think of that has true bellows with is the Fuji GX680, which is a beast in its own right. Mamiya has a nice 80 f/1.9 lens for their 645 cameras which may be a cheaper alternative to the Contax if you're not looking to commit too much money to the purchase. I personally haven't shot it but have heard some great things about it.
I'm glad to hear you'll be jumping back into film man! The camera options and film combinations are seriously endless. It's definitely been a lot more fun and rewarding to shoot film
